Jeffrey Hunter founded Charles Bridgeford on seeing the potential to bring his international, institutional investment experience to help with issues facing family, friends, and others in local farming communities. He began his successful investment career at RBC Royal Bank and National Bank Financial. Most recently he was one of the youngest employees to join British Columbia Investment Management Corporation as an investment professional. Subsequently he became the youngest person to earn the senior investment professional title of Portfolio Manager at bcIMC.
Having lived in Saskatchewan and Southern Alberta, Jeffrey has seen friends and family face the challenges and opportunities present in the Canadian agricultural sector. In starting Charles Bridgeford, Jeffrey sees himself returning to his roots to build an organization on the belief that agricultural and investment professionals can bring value to one another while keeping Canadian farmland in use by local operators and strengthening farming communities.
Jeffrey graduated from the University of Victoria with a B.A. in Economics. He is a CFA Charterholder and a past president of CFA Victoria, the local member society of the CFA Institute.
